Are the cabinets in stock?

Most models are in stock in moderate quantities, ready for same day shipping. We have a western warehouse to help reduce freight costs for our west coast customers. At that location, we stock a number of our most popular models. For more information, visit our Western Warehouse page.

How are the cabinets shipped?

Cabinets are shipped KD (Knock Down) for freight economy or Set-Up (Assembled) for labor savings and rapid deployment (Note that assembled cabinets ship at a higher freight class, increasing the cost). All cabinets are shipped common carrier, best way, with freight charges prepaid and added to the invoice. Depending on your location, shipment should arrive within one to six working days from date of shipment.

Where is American Standard Mfg. located?

Central Bridge, NY is located approximately forty miles southwest of Albany, NY, two miles from Interstate 88.

Do the signs come with the cabinets?

PROPANE, NO SMOKING & 1-4-0 OSHA diamond signage is included with Forklift Cylinder Cabinets.

PROPANE EXCHANGE STATION, NO SMOKING, EXCHANGE CHECKLIST, and 1-4-0 OSHA diamond signage is included with 20 Pound Cylinder Cabinets.

FLAMMABLE GAS and NO SMOKING signage is included with High Pressure Cylinder Storage cabinets.

What do all the letters and numbers mean?

The truth is, this model number system is too darn complicated to explain here. But, if you'll call and tell us how many and what type of cylinders you want to store, we'll tell you the most cost effective model(s) to use for that application, and how the model number breaks down.
